The why

Something happens after youth group ends.

Youth group ends. Your calendar empties. The friends you did faith with get busy with their own lives, and nobody's checking in on you any more. Slowly, faith becomes something you keep rather than something you grow.

That drift costs a generation.
Unite to Reach exists to stop it.

One weekend with young adults from churches around Brisbane and right across Australia — worship, real equipping, and then out to put it into practice.

This is not one church's project. It is churches standing together to reach a generation.

Three big rocks

He appointed twelve, that they might be with him, and that he might send them out.

Mark 3:14

Everything in the weekend hangs off that one verse. Three rocks, in that order.

01

Be with Jesus

Learning to live close to him, not just believe in him.

02

Become like Jesus

Being changed into someone who loves beyond natural capacity.

03

Do what Jesus does

Sharing the gospel and making disciples who make disciples.

What's on

Two things. Unity, and being equipped.

Every church, one room

Young adults from church after church in the same room — worship together, eat together, and meet the people carrying the same thing you are.

You walk out knowing you are not doing this on your own.

Tools you can actually use

Simple, practical training in how to abide in Christ, how to reach the lost, how to share the gospel, and how to make disciples.

Not theory. You practise it on the weekend and take it home to your own church, street, and campus.

The venue

Bribie Island Retreat

Bribie Island Retreat & Recreation Centre 2–12 Third Avenue, Woorim QLD 4507

An hour north of Brisbane, over the bridge, five minutes from the surf. Cabins to sleep in, a hall big enough for all of us, and meals cooked on site.

Bring a jumper for the evenings. The good stuff usually happens outside after the sessions finish.

Come with your church, come with a friend, or come on your own and leave with forty new ones.

Send someone

Can't make it? Put someone else in the room.

Some of the young adults who most need this weekend are the ones who can least afford it.

If you can't be there yourself, you can still cover a ticket for someone who can. $159 covers a full spot, and smaller amounts stack together to make one.

Everything given goes to a ticket. Nothing else.

Questions

Good to know

Leaders, parents, or anyone still deciding — get in touch and we'll answer straight.

What does the cost cover?

$159 gets you a bed in a cabin for two nights, every meal, and the full program. $125 is the same weekend with your own tent instead of a cabin. There's nothing else to pay once you're there.

Do I have to come with my church?

No. Plenty of people come on their own. You'll be put with a group on arrival and you won't be sitting by yourself — that's the whole point of the weekend.

What's the accommodation like?

Cabins on site at the retreat, with camping space as well. Bring your own bedding, pillow and towel. Let us know at registration if you need accessible accommodation and we'll sort it.

Are meals included?

Yes — meals from Friday dinner through to Sunday are catered on site. Tell us about allergies and dietary requirements when you register.

How do I get there?

Bribie Island is about an hour's drive north of Brisbane, straight over the bridge. We'll help coordinate carpools from around Brisbane closer to the date — flag it at registration if you need a lift or can offer seats. Flying in? Brisbane Airport is about an hour from the site; tell us at registration and we'll help you work out the last leg.

I'm a youth pastor. Can I bring a group?

Please do. Group registrations are welcome and we'll work with you on numbers and cost. Email us and we'll set it up properly.

What if I can't afford it?

Have a quiet word with us before you write the weekend off. Email info@multiplymovement.com.au or call Ebanezer on 0480 203 013 and just say so — you don't need to explain yourself.

We can't promise a free spot. It depends entirely on what's been given toward tickets that year. But every ask gets a real answer rather than silence, and the conversation stays between us.

Can I pay for someone else to come?

Yes, and it's the reason anyone gets helped at all. $159 covers a full ticket and smaller amounts stack together to make one. Everything given goes to a ticket and nothing else. Use the “Cover a ticket” button above.
